How to Compare CLE Credit and Total Conference Cost

CLE and CPD credit depend on the session, jurisdiction, and organizer approval process. NAWL expects five to seven CLE hours and names the jurisdictions covered. RILA requires session attendance and records participation for credit. The Canadian Legal Summit publishes Ontario and British Columbia CPD conditions.

ACC labels sessions as likely eligible, may be eligible, or likely ineligible for CLE. Attendees confirm approved sessions and jurisdictions through the post-event CLE/CPD Service Center. Economist Impact's General Counsel Summit US is accredited by the CPD Group; that CPD designation does not establish US CLE credit.

To assess the total cost, include registration, travel, accommodation, and time away from work. Then name the result you want to bring back: a vendor shortlist, an AI adoption plan, or an answer to an industry-specific legal question. Check whether recordings let colleagues review relevant sessions without making another trip.
